Brock Pierce, a crypto investor, is fighting for the White House Blocksats

Brock Pierce, an entrepreneur from the venture capital market, a cryptocurrency fan, and a former child star, has just announced his participation in the US presidential election. He reported this on Twitter yesterday, July 5.

Brock Pierce: a powerful drake is fighting for the White House

Pierce is known among others from the fact that as a teenager he starred in “Powerful Ducks” – a cult movie about the youth hockey team.

Today this former cinema star for the younger viewer is associated with the cryptocurrency market. However, as we know from yesterday, his ambitions go even further. He wants to become the president of the USA! In my tweet he said:

“I, Brock Pierce, apply for the office of the President of the United States of America.”

His election website said Pierce was a pioneer in the digital currency market and had raised over $ 5 billion for the companies he founded. He is the president of the Bitcoin Foundation and a co-founder of EOS Alliance, Block.one, Blockchain Capital, Tether and Mastercoin. His website is also not very detailed on political issues. We don’t know if he wants to get a political party nomination or starts as an independent candidate.

Chances of success

Although Pierce is doing well in the market, he had promised himself quite a good actor, he has no real chance of success in the election. He is probably running to promote himself as a businessman and to advertise his ventures. It’s a similar approach that John McAfee took five years ago – he fought for the White House to promote cyber security.

Only two politicians count today in the US presidential race. The first is, of course, President Donald Trump, who is fighting for re-election and whom the Republicans have again supported. His main rival is Democrat Joe Biden. Apparently the latter is winning the polls for now. However, it is not clear – and there will be no election results to be announced – which will ultimately win.

We know that Trump is not a BTC fan, and Biden … in fact, he may not even know what cryptocurrencies are (at least no one has learned his opinion on this subject).
