Cambridge University publishes cryptocurrency Bitcoin mining map and country rankings

Visualizing the position of miners The University of Cambridge’s Alternative Finance Center (CCAF) has released a map that visualizes how much mining of cryptocurrency Bitcoin is taking place in what part of the world and how much. According to April monthly data, China accounts for 65% of the global mining power (hash rate). Below the second place are the US with 7.24%, Russia with 6.9%, and Kazakhstan with 6.17%.
