iVoting and IT.focus join forces to design the iVoting Business application together. It is about digitization of General Meetings, meetings of Management Boards and Supervisory Boards in capital companies.
iVoting + IT.focus = iVoting Business
– Thanks to modern solutions and the use of technology blockchain we will prepare the first e-GMS for Agencja Rozwoju Regionalnego S.A. this quarter in Bielsko-Biała, and a few weeks later we will start pilot voting in several companies with limited liability – we read on the iVoting Facebook profile.
It turns out that the company saw a chance for itself in the Anti-Crisis Shield voted by the Sejm. It was here that the Code of Commercial Companies (CCC) was amended, expanding the possibility of holding a general meeting of shareholders (GMS) using electronic means of communication in joint-stock companies. The point is that at present, those companies whose statutes are opposed to this form of holding general meetings may not hold so-called e-GMS. This means that a group of companies whose statutes so far did not provide for provisions related to the e-GMS, can now carry out the GMS in this modern form.
The dynamic iVoting team is to have a ready iVoting Business application already in September 2020. It will allow for quick and efficient reporting of reports to the National Court Register and at the same time remote participation in meetings of shareholders staying e.g. in a pandemic era.
iVoting and IT.focus
With this initiative, iVoting joins forces with IT.focus, a software house that is known mainly through the IHELPYOU.app application. This helps bring together volunteers to help those affected by the coronavirus. The company also has portfolio application for voting at general meetings of joint-stock companies, e.g. Browar Jastrzębie.
– I am very happy that we are joining forces to offer effective and transparent tools to entrepreneurs in companies across the country. Our business experience gained in the General Meeting of Shareholders will be perfectly combined with the expertise and innovative approach represented by iVoting from the very beginning – comments Jakub Król, CEO IT.focus
– We want to offer a solution that will integrate various levels of security of the voting system and related different prices of services for our clients. The offer will be directed not only to large capital companies, but mainly we have in mind the SME sector, which is faced with the problem of mandatory reporting every year – commented Marcin Gawlas CEO of the iVoting project.
