John McAfee went back to talking about the Ghost Coin project, which he had abandoned, saying he could reconsider his choice and go back to work with them.
Josh Case has been ousted by the $ GHOST community.
GHOST now will clean house and purge the useless. With a startup mentality, Ghost might actually succeed.
Hell, if they will prioritize the creation of the world’s first stable privacy coin, I might even consider returning. https://t.co/aI1xJVQOa9

“Josh Case was kicked out by the GHOST community.
GHOST will now clean the house and get rid of the useless ones. With a startup mindset, Ghost can really succeed.
Hell, if they prioritize creating the world’s first stable privacy currency, I might even consider going back. ”
This is a privacy-focused blockchain project and its token, Ghost Coin, allows for greater privacy than traditional tokens and also incredible speed, as it is based on the DPoS (Delegated Proof of Stake) consensus protocol.
The reason for McAfee’s abandonment was precisely the governance system, which was using outdated and outdated logic with the times and speed of the project and industry.
McAfee can really return to Ghost Coin
On the page on governance updates, it is stated that 3 guardians will be appointed to manage the keys for the entire Ghost system.
They will have different functions:
- Program management, responsible for executing the Ghost project according to the requests of the stakeholders;
- Communication and marketing, which includes web presence, several chats and several official team communications;
- Software development management, which includes code management, testing and maintenance.
Decisions on these issues will be put to a vote. The voting will be carried out by the token holders. There will be a first vote on the Telegram channel that will last for 24 hours and should reach 51% of the votes, then we will move on to the vote that involves the participation of users who have already voted on the Telegram channel, a fundamental requirement to participate in this second vote.
The method involves sending to a specific address:
- 1 GHOST token, for abstaining;
- 2 GHOST tokens, to vote no;
- 3 GHOST tokens, to vote yes.
A 51% majority will be needed here as well. Voting will remain open for 72 hours to allow everyone to participate.
At that point, McAfee, if he feels that the efforts that will be made in the future will be directed towards creating a privacy-focused currency with the correct governance rules, he may consider returning to the project and supporting it.
