In October, we wrote about airdrop Civic (CVC), in which there were between 500 and 25,000 CVC tokens up for grabs. Work on the Civic wallet has been completed and everyone who took part in the airdrop can now set up an account on it and collect prizes.
New cryptocurrency wallet from Civic is encrypted with multisig signatures. In addition digital assets deposited on the wallet are secured by the Coincover Cryptocurrency Protection Guarantee up to USD 1 million, guaranteed by Lloyd’s of London – an association of individual insurers. This security is automatically granted after creating your wallet.
In addition to storing digital coins, the wallet also allows simple transfers to friends on your contact list. Thanks to the Civic software, with minimal fees you will transfer bitcoiny, while USDC, ETH and CVC will be able to transfer without any commission.
According to information provided by Civic, approximately 125,000 people have subscribed to the white list to use the new wallet first.
What do I have to do to collect my prize?
The order of granting access to the application depends on the number of referrals. Ultimately, however, everyone on the white list will receive an activation email along with their wallet login details. Therefore, if you have not received the message yet, just wait for it.
To be able to pick up yours tokens, just download the Civic wallet at android or iOS and successfully go through the process KYC within 90 days of receiving the email with the activation code. In addition, you must complete 12 transactions over 12 months (from April 2, 2020 to April 3, 2021) before the prize tokens can be withdrawn from the wallet. Fortunately, this will not be difficult, given the commission-free transfers from the Civic wallet.
