Will Bitcoin finally break the horizon?

Looking at the quotations of the oldest of virtual currencies, we will notice that the price of BTC has been moving in a horizontal trend between USD 9,300 and USD 9,900 for a week. At present, this market oscillates around the upper limit of this consolidation, where a supply response has already appeared, signaling its potential rejection. This fact increases the likelihood of appearing in the near future declines, for which the range of the lower formation limit, i.e. USD 9,300, seems to be realistic.

Even if technical support of USD 9,300 were defeated, the BTC price could drop to only USD 8,950 or USD 8,500. Until these zones are permanently removed, all downward forms could be treated as correction forms, with the potential for greater increases over a longer time horizon.

To sum up, although there may be some declines in the horizon of the next few days, in the long run, the general trend on Bitcoin quotations does not look so bad. However, in order for us to talk about potential for larger increases, the market would first have to break above the technical resistance of USD 10,400.
